Milwaukee Police Department Public Information Office June 2025 update

While not an all-inclusive reflection of all of the items MPD PIO shared for the month, here is a sampling of the MPD initiatives, engagement efforts, and community safety information that was shared with the public on our social media platforms for the month of June.

MPD's priorities to communicate to our public are as follows:

Suspects Criminally Charged in Connection to the Homicide of a 30-year-old

On Friday, June 20, 2025, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Hezile J. Frison, Aaliyah J. Frison and Tara T. Hudson in connection to the homicide of a 30-year-old.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 16, 2025, at approximately 11:00 p.m., on the 300 block of W. Vliet Street.
Hezile was charged with one count of First-Degree Intentional Homicide. If convicted, she could face life in prison.
Aaliyah was charged with one count of Aggravated Battery (Substantial Risk of Great Bodily Harm) As Party to a Crime, Use of a Dangerous Weapon. If convicted, she could face up to 11 years in prison and fined up to $10,000.
Tara was charged with one count of Obstructing an Officer. If convicted, she could face up to 9 months in prison and fined up to $10,000.
June 26th, 2025 Officer Involved Shooting

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 9:22 p.m., Milwaukee Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of the N. 25th Street and W. Garfield Avenue for a subject with a weapon. The call was updated that the suspect was firing shots.

While approaching, they were unexpectedly fired upon in the alley of the 2200 block of N. 24th Place. The officers were both struck and not able to return fire.
