While not an all-inclusive reflection of all of the items MPD PIO shared for the month, here is a sampling of the MPD initiatives, engagement efforts, and community safety information that was shared with the public on our social media platforms for the month of October.

MPD's priorities to communicate to our public are as follows:

1.  Community - posts/stories focusing on community engagement efforts.
2.  Safety - posts/stories educating about safety tips, highlighting cases and press releases.
3.  Recruitment  - posts/stories to generate interest in applying.
4.  Wellness - feel good posts/stories, posts/stories highlighting MPD's wellness initiatives.
5.  Professionalism - posts/stories highlighting our training, members, staff.
