💧 Adults should provide constant, active supervision when children are swimming
💧 Both children and adults can sign up for swim lessons
💧 Swim in a lifeguarded area

Community member tips play a large role in Milwaukee Police Department District 3's strategy in combating both drug and violent crime. On average, the Violent Crime Reduction Team (VCRT) officers receive approximately 10 drug tips a week. These tips come in the form of anonymous emails, anonymous calls, Aldermanic complaints or calls, and Fusion tips. From January 2023 to February 2024 District 3 received 169 community member phone calls. Some of these investigations led to discovering where the target suspects live, which are not always in District 3. The individuals live in other Districts, but come to District 3 to sell drugs. This video is a summary of some of the more notable cases in which District 3 collaborated with community members of Milwaukee to solve violent and drug crime.

The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) has many different divisions and a variety of jobs performed to keep the Milwaukee community safe. Today we highlight our Forensics Division.
